TCU Horned Frog Mascot BW - TCU mascot is the Texas horned lizard, or Phrynosoma cornutum, and is a reptile. This is the new home of the Horney Toad Mascot of TCU in Fort Worth Texas it was moved and now sits in front of the Jane and John Justin Hall of Fame in black and white. It had previously sat in front of the Amon Carter Stadium on the TCU campus. The horney toad has been the Texas state reptile since 1992. It is actually an amphibian and even thought it looks ominous its actually not dangerous unless you scare it they have been known to shoot blood from their eyes to get a way. In Texas we are quite found of our horney toads and they have been endangered due to fire ants and other habit losses.
